Station 2, located at 4825 S. 273rd East Ave. in Broken Arrow, OK, is known as "Second to One" and home to the Southside Pride Frogs. The frog mascot originated from the frogs that have been found hiding inconspicuously inside the station since its opening and continue to thrive today. Construction of the station began in June 2016 and was completed in July 2017, bringing faster response times to our citizens, lower insurance premiums, and improved coordination with the Broken Arrow Fire Department.
Present at the groundbreaking ceremony were Commissioner Hanning, Board Chairman Steve Culloty, Board Secretary Barbara Collier, and Board Member Richard DeMarzo.
Station 2 houses Brush 2, Brush 4, Rescue 2, Engine 2, Tanker 2, Boat 2, and the department's gym area.
